Nomination Nemo H2
The passenger vessel "Nemo H2" is nominated for the KNVTS Ship of the Year Award 2011 (Schip van het Jaar Prijs 2011). This award is granted to a technologically ship designed and (largely) built in the Netherlands.
The two other nominated ships are:
- the craneship "Oleg Strashnov";
- the inland tanker "Amulet".
The jury will announce the winner of the price at the Maritime Awards Gala, which will be held on November 3rd 2011.

Fuel Cell Boat
The boat was developed by a consortium of companies, namely:
- shipowning company Lovers;
- Linde Gas Benelux,
- Integral;
- Alewijnse Marine Systems;
- Marine Service Noord.
Latter two companies together with third partner Shipyard De Kaap are also responsible for the boat's construction, for which they set up the company Fuel Cell Boat Construction B.V..
Marine Service Noord B.V. designed, produced and installed the fuel cell power, hydrogen storage and H2 distribution system. For this boat MSN specially developed a valve block which regulates the hydrogen supply.

Order for 6 vessels of 5.400 TDW
From Bodewes Shipyard we received an order for 6 vessels of 5.400 TDW. All vessels will be outfitted in Hoogezand, after the hulls being built in Romania.
The vessels are built for shipping company Buss and Hartmann (Feederlines). This series is herewith extended till 2010.
2 x 350 TEU container feeder for VeKa / Bijlsma
The casco's will be built in China, outfitting will take place at the Bijlsma Shipyard in Lemmer.
These container feeders will be powered by a Wärtsilä engine of 3280 kW and are based on the design of new building numbers 738 and 739, which MSN received order for in Q4 of 2005.
Delivery of these ships will take place in the summer of 2008.
Inclusive the 2 above mentioned engine room installations the orders from Bijlsma / VeKa totals 28 vessels.
Order for 9 vessels of 3.250 Ton
The hulls will be build in the Czech Republic and China, outfitting of the ships will take place in Lemmer.
IMPAS will also deliver the booster modules and separator modules for these vessels.
Delivery of the vessels will be in 2008 and 2009.
Inclusive the 9 above mentioned engine room installations the total orders from Bijlsma / VeKa comes down to 26 vessels.
